Clemella Gite is ideally located to provide a bit of everything you could want from your holiday.
The beautiful coastline of the Morbihan Gulf is just a 25 minute drive away. Huge expanses of sandy beach or rugged cliffs and rocky outcrops stretch for miles.
A 50 minute drive to the west
will take you to Carnac, home of the Carnac Stones where there are more
than 3000 prehistoric standing stones long predating the Pyramids or
Stonehenge.These megaliths are just a few kilometers away from unspoilt beaches.
A further 10 minutes in the car 
and you will be on the stunning Quiberon peninsula. On the sheltered eastern side there are sandy beaches while on the western side the coastline is altogether more dramatic providing ideal conditions for water sports, especially surfing and sailing.
30 minutes from Questembert is the historic town of Vannes. Medieval architecture, the old town ramparts, the château, a huge choice of shops, restaurants and cafés make this a day out that no one would want to miss.
10 minutes north-east of Questembert is the picturesque town of Rochefort-en-Terre. Once you have walked through the town there will be no surprise to learn that it has the status Petite Cités de Caractère. Stunning floral displays accentuate the half timbered buildings leading up the hill to the château perched on the town's highest point. You will be spoiled for choice for places to eat or relax with a coffee.
2 minutes from our gites is Questembert. Known
for its Monday market spread throughout the town with an amazing array
of regional produce including a multitude of food stalls in the 16th
century market place.
Branféré animal park and botanical gardens is set in around 40 hectares. Along with the 17th century château and 6 lakes are over 100 species of animal from all over the world. These include maned wolves, giraffes, a red panda, wallabies, deer and many many more. There are displays by birds of prey and an enclosure which you can go in and interact with some of the animals.
These are just a few of the many places to visit and things to do. Other places close by are the town of Josselin, the Parc Prehistorique, swimming pools, golf courses, horse riding centres, the Nante-Brest canal, water sports, country walks........the list goes on and on.....
